I’m sitting at my desk wondering how to get rid of a lower back pain. I’ve already answered and fulfilled the easier question: how to treat chronic lower back pain, but how can you completely let it go bye bye?
If you don’t know me, My name is Michael, a man who has chronic back pain. I used to present myself in a less compelling manner. I use to say I “struggled”. Through trial and error year after years, I’ve come away with my two hands full of confidence, and better health.
This article will be focused on getting you the best possible treatment you can, while not tripping over absurd claims, and false desires. No, this article will be the entry point to something greater, all the options available to you. If you want to skip all the blabbering, go ahead and get right to it by clicking here:
But If you want to stay and talk strategy with me, my chairs are open.
Take Steps, Not A Leap
Has someone important in your life ever told you that you can’t have dessert, unless you eat your dinner first? What I’m drawing up is that there are steps to get to the best health you can have. You must be willing to eat that broccoli you hated, and then the carrots, an oh gosh, the vegetables?
The same applies to your chronic lower back pain, it’s a process. Once you finish your sides, take a second to reflect on your achievement, and move on in for the entree, YUMM!
You’ll eat everything, you’re the one who says, serve me up! I like that about you, but you need to cherish, and really think twice about what you’re having. The entree for tonight consist of a sir loin meat. It’s sure tasty, but will it serve your body well is another question? Will it cause you to gain unwanted fat, carbs, protein, nutrients that you didn’t need?
In my years of intensive care, and working to get rid of both non-specific and specific chronic lower back pain, I learned one thing…
Nourish yourself with what you need, not with what you want. If I wanted the extra plate of meat on my platter, you bet I could have reached for another, but that would hurt my stomach, and then you could forget about the dessert right?
Like food, you have to asses your lower back. Ask yourself if taking the first step to eat the meat was even worth it? Were seconds the right call?
These are setbacks from getting you to what you really wanted at the end of the night. At this point, you’re in a bundle of emotions:
Somewhere between the sides, and your main entree, you made a mistake, missed some steps. So now it’s time to reverse engineer that.
Using Reverse Engineering Thoughts Will Help You
Pain doesn’t go away, and not because you didn’t try, but because you never thought about the process. Here’s an example:
- I started with taking a drug
- I ate some food afterward
- I watched TV on my sinking couch
- Then, I slept with pain
Ask yourself this one thing: “Would you have been productive before you layed a hand on your painkillers” It’s OK that you’ve chosen to alleviate your pain in this manner, but the next time that you feel its necessary then ask:
Is this the best solution?
If you knew how your pain occurred, you could take steps to get away from the harmful drugs, the conservative treatments that don’t always work, and you wouldn’t sit yourself on the couch if you knew it would make matters worse.
That’s all it takes, a change in thought, and that can happen by looking backwards to see into the future. You survived my ideology, and illustration! I know how ecstatic you are now that it is over, heck I have trouble listening to myself 🙂
So, A big thank you!
Now, we get to pull back the curtains, and see the moment we’ve all been waiting for.
