I can’t believe IT! We’re about to head into 2019! That’s insane. Just 12 months ago, I was starting a new year, and it has felt like the time has flied… Wait 2018 come back. let me reminisce a little before I say goodbye. It’s a farewell partner, you gave me revelations, and you brought me the good with the bad, but I never would have made it without you.
The good and the bad…what do I mean by that? I could be talking about how things didn’t go our way on day, and then the next it turned around for you, or maybe it has something to do with your bad back?
Those of us with chronic back pain feel like we are suffering 365 days 24/7, 7 days a week, no joke. It has us to the point where we think the new year is going to be just the same or even worse. Where’s the hope right?
I can understand the frustration you have, but getting upset never makes it better, it only makes our pain worsen. So what’s your New Years Resolution going to be this year? I can guarantee that 99.99% of the people with a bad back will continue doing the same thing they are doing now, and the other 99.99% in the “getting a bad back” category will never change their habits.
You keep telling yourself I don’t know what to do anymore, I will never fix my problem(s), I am always in som much pain. Well, there are two things at play:
- What are you doing about it?
- How are you going about it?
Very simple guys, If you don’t want a bad back, you have to be willing to asses yourself and be honest with yourself. In this article, I’m going to show you what you can do to get rid of that new years pain and how to avoid having a bad back before during and after.
Before:
It’s about to strike 12am, and now its time to start getting my back pain resolution ready right? WRONG. If you didn’t start to plan before, you will start the new year on the wrong foot. And the reason I;m saying this is that the night before new years, we’re usually sharing the festivities with our loved ones.
And that translates to movements, twisting and possible bending and pulling. All this will cause strain to your body. So by the time you want to fix the pain, its so unbearable, that you can’t do a thing about it the next day. Not to mention you probably are tired and ate and drink way too much.
TIP #1: Exercise more
I want you to work on exercising first before you do anything else. You need to accept that fact that your body needs strengthening in your core muscles and your back. We want to build a stability in your frame. Try to workout at least 2 times during the week of new years, Here are some things you can do in this article.
